"Sama Vritti Pranayama is a simple yet powerful breathing technique. It moves you through equal counts of an inhale 'puraka,' retention at the top 'antara khumbaka,' exhale 'rechaka,' and retention at the bottom 'bahya khumbaka.'
In simpler words - inhale, hold, exhale, hold again with the same count for each part. Repeat.
If you’re a beginner, start with 3-count parts, then slowly increase to 4 or 5-count parts, aiming to do at least 5 rounds of this pranayama.
Remember, if it starts making you anxious, take a step back to a shorter count or simply practice an even inhale and exhale.
Just a few minutes of this practice can make a world of difference, awakening your senses and restoring your focus. Notice how your thoughts quiet and your energy renews."
