What kind of experience are your guests looking for?
Our guests are looking for an experience that allows them to step away from the main thoroughfares, yet stay close to the national treasure that is Zion National Park, along with all the beauty and adventure southern Utah offers.
They’re also looking to truly be in nature. Our safari-style canvas tents blend beautifully into the desert landscape, while offering all the comforts of a hotel room and more. Guests can stargaze as they fall asleep, wake to the sunrise peeking through their windows, and sip morning coffee to the sounds of nature. After a day of exploring, they return to an upscale space with luxurious linens, step fresh from the shower into a plush robe, feel heated floors beneath their feet and enjoy the warmth of their indoor fireplace. Evenings might end with s’mores by the fireplace, recounting the day’s adventures. The possibilities are endless.
Finally, our guests are seeking connection while disconnecting. They want to deepen their relationship with nature, their surroundings, and the things that fuel the soul, while stepping away from phones, TVs, and other distractions.
What role does yoga play at Open Sky, and what kinds of experiences do you offer on-site?
We’ve listened closely to our guests and have seen a growing interest in yoga and wellness-focused experiences. At Open Sky, we offer a truly unique environment to unplug and reconnect. Over the years, we’ve collaborated with local yoga studios and a fantastic instructor who specializes in the intersection of yoga and the natural world. As this interest has grown, and more guests have booked yoga and sound bath experiences, incorporating yoga more intentionally into our offerings felt like a natural next step. It’s become a powerful part of how guests experience rest and renewal in our natural and luxurious surroundings.
All yoga experiences at Open Sky are curated just for our guests, using local practitioners and instructors. That means we have the freedom to practice on the outdoor patio of a private camp, pond-side, upon the mesas that overlook our property, or any other natural space that speaks to our guests.
We’re also in an exciting phase of expanding our on-site wellness offerings. New additions—including a sauna and elevated yoga platforms near and over our pond—are set to open in 2026. All will contribute to our wellness area, designed to enhance the restorative nature of the property.
Whether guests are planning a group retreat or simply seeking a getaway, our concierge service connects them with a local expert to help curate the perfect itinerary. Some of our most popular experiences include yoga sessions and sound bath meditations led by a local instructor, either right at camp or atop a scenic mesa with sweeping views.
