Travel-Ready Design

Made for on-the-move movers, the eKO SuperLite delivers exceptional comfort and support for a harmonious practice anywhere.

Mindfully Made

Sustainably harvested and constructed of natural, non-Amazon tree rubber, the eKO SuperLite delivers an eKO-friendly flow wherever you go.

All eKO® Series yoga mats have a closed-cell surface, which will never absorb moisture. Because of this, if you are warm/sweaty at all, the yoga mat will feel slippery, so we always recommend pairing it with one of our hand towels to absorb moisture and provide extra traction or to apply our Yoga Grip Gel during your practice. If you're practicing hot yoga, we recommend a mat towel for full mat coverage. For towel guidance read our Guide to Yoga Towels and check out this blog post for more tips to decrease slip and increase grip.

The marbled, striped and dip colors are hand-processed and have unique patterns. We can't guarantee the yoga mat will match the image exactly. Store the yoga mat rolled together when not used for traveling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Manduka eKO Superlite yoga mat be folded into a suitcase?

Yes. The Manduka eKO Superlite is specifically designed to fold easily for travel. The standard mat measures 180cm x 61cm and weighs approximately 1kg, making it convenient to pack inside most suitcases or travel bags. After travelling, it can be rolled for regular storage to help preserve its shape and natural rubber surface.

Is the Manduka eKO Superlite a good yoga mat for travel?

Yes. The Manduka eKO Superlite is an ultra-lightweight, foldable travel yoga mat designed for practising wherever you go. At just 1.5mm thick and approximately 1kg in weight, it folds compactly into a suitcase, backpack or carry-on without taking up the space of a traditional rolled yoga mat. Its natural rubber construction also provides a more stable and grippy practice surface than practising directly on a hotel or studio floor.

Does the Manduka eKO Superlite travel mat provide good grip?

The textured natural rubber surface of the Manduka eKO Superlite provides reliable dry grip and a responsive, semi-sticky feel for controlled transitions and balance. However, because its closed-cell surface does not absorb moisture, it may feel slippery during very sweaty or heated practices. For hot yoga or heavy perspiration, pair it with a yogitoes or eQua yoga towel for additional traction.

What is the eKO Superlite yoga mat made from?

The eKO Superlite is made from sustainably harvested, non-Amazon natural tree rubber. Its single-layer, closed-cell construction does not absorb moisture, making the surface easier to clean and helping maintain hygienic performance while travelling. The mat is 99% latex-free, but it is not recommended for people with latex sensitivities.
