In 2013, Britney and Mike Easton took over Blue Moon Yoga and Wellness with a clear vision: to nurture a strong, supportive space for practice and growth. Over a decade later, the Central California studio has expanded into a wellness hub with three locations across Fresno and Clovis—offering yoga, Pilates, recovery services, and a space where connection runs deep. From the beginning, they’ve remained grounded in gratitude for the practice that changed their lives and the community that continues to grow around it.
Their path to ownership was shaped by personal transformation. Britney discovered yoga after college, drawn in by the need to decompress from a demanding job and long commutes. From her very first class, she was hooked. She loved the way the practice made her feel stronger in her body, calmer in her mind, and deeply at home in herself. Mike, a full-time firefighter, came to yoga to stay grounded through the physical and mental toll of his work, and his practice quickly became an essential routine. As grade school friends, the pair reconnected when Mike discovered that Britney was a teacher at his local studio, Blue Moon. Their connection quickly deepened beyond friendship.
In 2013, they got married and took the leap into studio ownership with a shared mission: to support others in finding the same strength, peace, and purpose they’d found through practice. That mission continues to guide their work, and their appreciation for the people who walk through their doors is woven into every part of the studio experience.
A Studio That Evolves With Its Community
Blue Moon’s offerings reflect a whole-person approach to wellness. Students can explore a wide range of class styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha (26+2), Sculpt, Yin, and Inferno Hot Pilates. Recovery options include cold plunge, infrared sauna, and float therapy. With three locations, a full-service juice bar, and space for both beginners and longtime practitioners, Blue Moon supports wellness from every angle.
But the heart of the studio lies in how people feel when they walk in. It’s a space where students are met where they are, and where every visit is a step toward strength, resilience, and self-trust.
Practice That Transforms
Transformation at Blue Moon often starts small—a class taken, a habit formed—but it adds up to something powerful. Over the years, Britney and Mike have seen students transform their lives in ways that go far beyond the physical. Some have used yoga to manage stress or lower blood pressure. Others have found confidence, built new routines, or made friendships that extend beyond the studio walls.
One longtime member, a former professional athlete, began practicing during a difficult stretch marked by injury and depression. With time, he moved off medication and rebuilt his sense of identity and joy. Another student arrived with multiple fractures from a mountain biking accident and, within a year of steady practice, was fully healed and back on the bike. There’s also a correctional officer who came in with chronic neck pain and left it behind through daily practice.
These are just a few of the many stories that unfold in Blue Moon’s studios: quiet transformations sparked by consistency, resilience, and the support of a deeply connected community.

Gratitude in Action
Gratitude runs through everything at Blue Moon, from the way classes are led to the way people are welcomed. Britney and Mike credit their personal practices with helping them stay grounded through the demands of studio ownership and family life, and they carry that perspective into how they lead.
Their appreciation extends across the entire community. From instructors and the leadership team to the Karma Crew (work exchange), each person plays a role in shaping the studio’s culture. Britney and Mike prioritize listening, inclusion, and regular recognition—creating a space where people feel seen, valued, and connected.
“We know that what we are building is the sum of all parts,” they explain. “We would not be who we are today without our people.”
Celebrating Growth Together
Growth at Blue Moon is measured not just in flexibility or endurance, but in commitment. The studio’s seasonal challenges are a highlight of the community calendar. Each winter and summer, students sign their names on the wall and commit to practicing consistently. These challenges inspire deep connection as students cheer each other on, build friendships, and work toward shared and personal goals.
In their largest studio, a milestone wall tracks student progress, from 30 to over 3,00 classes. It’s a simple but powerful way to honor dedication and show that every step matters.
Giving Back With Purpose
Blue Moon’s connection to its broader community is just as intentional. Donation-based events are a regular part of the calendar, supporting causes close to home. This November, they’re hosting Sunday classes where 100% of proceeds go to local food banks—Central California Food Bank and Poverello House—helping to fight food insecurity across the region.
It’s one more way the studio lives its mission: to be a space for healing and impact, grounded in practice and community care.
